kmac is a free face-to-face debt advice centre for supporting vulnerable individuals and families.

 

kmac began in 2008, and after training and preparation we opened our doors in February 2009.

We have served many, many people who have great struggles with debt...for all sorts of reasons.

​

kmac is affiliated to Community Money Advice which has over 185 similar centres all around the UK.

We have recently begun to work alongside Southend City Council as part of the Tackling Poverty Strategy.  This involves having a seat on the Steering Group, attending various meetings and workshops - and shortly we will also presenting a seminar in local centres for parents and carers.
