King's Church / Route One / NewFrontiers....Pioneering  - again !

Last year was the first outreach for King's Church as part of the Fontier Project.

It was an outstanding time of outreach into the town centre and teaching in Southend High School for Boys. We had 9 members of Mid-UK Frontier Project with us for 8 days and they certainly made an impact in our lives !

We are looking to do the same again next year....but this time for longer and with the potential of a bigger team.

What is Frontier Project ?

Frontier Project are a group of people based in Bedford who have given up a year to serve different NewFrontiers Churches in the Mid-Uk region. They come from all over the Mid UK region and are great fun to have around !

Southend High Street and a Secondary School ?

Two very different environments and two very different remits. The former is evangelistic the latter is educational.  Last year we took 15 lessons covering such topics as Ethics, Wealth, and Miracles. half the lessons took place on the Coach and half in the classroom. In two days we saw over 250 young lads.

In the High Street we had over 20 members of King's Church working with the 9 FP Team. It was 3 days of Route One plus 1 morning of surveys. There were lots of visitors to the Route One Bus and LOADS of Gospel sharing conversations. We saw people being saved and people receiving healing on the street too. It was a watershed moment for King's Church and we want this to become common practice for us.

Bring it on in 2011 !
