Evangelism....it's the word most Christians dread - it's the activity most Christians run a mile from!

Is this the reaction Jesus was looking for when He encouraged the disciples to pray for workers to go into the harvest field? Is fear and reluctance the key response to His commission to "Go into all the world"?

At King's we want to take the fear and reluctance out of evangelism. We want to help every member become part of the action of sharing faith with those who don't yet know Jesus.

At King's we want to take evangelism out of the 'event' category, something we invite people to, or rely on others to do for us.

At King's we want to grow every member to be good

witnesses to the life and ministry of Jesus - something we can ALL do.

Thankfully, Jesus does not expect us all to have the eloquence in unfolding the gospel message like Billy Graham in front of thousands, or Rheinhard Bonnke in front of

millions at one meeting !  Phew !

But if we are serious in our relationship with Him, loving Him, worshipping Him and having our lives transformed by Him as a result of knowing the power of His gift of salvation...then we have something wonderful to share. He never asks us to share something of Him that we have not already known for ourselves - the Gospel.

In our experience He arranges one-to-one appointments, moments of opportunity that only He could arrange.

Then He give us the words and the wisdom and, of course, the faith - with which everything is possible.

All of us can do it - in His strength, of course!
